Today is the official release date for the paperback of THE MASTER OF VERONA. And while I am extraordinarily busy – playing with the kids, editing a new manuscript, and directing a large production of ROMEO & JULIET (natch) - I will make time to step back and enjoy this.

A friend of mine says that publishing is a series of anticlimaxes. This is partially true – the sale, the editing, the copyediting, press, reviews, interviews, readings – all of it leads to something else. But there is only one thing better than holding the printed version of your own work for the first time – and that's seeing someone else open it and begin to read.

So have at, my friends. Happy reading!
