So awesome you’re published in Polish! Interesting cover. Me being a design dork, any idea why they didn’t just use the image from the English version? Book cover design fascinates me, by the way. Like I said, I’m a dork.
Polish, Russian, and Spanish. And every one of the has a different culture. I imagine that each publisher knows its target audience, and also probably has a different idea as to what the book’s about. For example, the title of the Spanish edition is THE LOVE OF VERONA. Different, eh?
More interesting, even between England and the US there are always cover differences. Check out the covers to Bernard Cornwell’s various series, and note the huge difference between Harper Collins in the UK and HC in the US – same company, same book, completely different art.
