The silence has been deafening, but the good news is that my writing has been focused in other places – the new Roman/Judean novel, and in adding daily content to the Michigan Shakespeare Festival Facebook page, as Jan gears up for her first summer at the helm. The plays are cast, the staff hired, the designs are in – we're very excited.

But until I have book news, I think that there's no point in my posting here – until I remember that most people coming to this page are in it for the Shakespeare thoughts. My pieces on the Origin of the Feud and Macbeth's Tomorrow speech are the most frequently searched pages. As I'm working on a SHREW at the moment, and will be returning to R&J and CoE this summer, I'll attempt to add a few thoughts about those as well.

But I'm really only stopping in to say, hi! All is well, and I'll be back more regularly this summer. Cheers!
